He accepts her for who she is,
Knowing she is no better,
Who is he but lies inside,
The harrow to follow the letter.

Wake anew to a different face,
Which day - this day - would bring,
He tires as such this hour would have,
A ballad to ferry their singing.

These two who know not happiness,
What willed them part-to-part,
His lies and pieces played each day,
That filled her empty heart.

But one day different to this man,
Her words fell on true face,
He was who willed the normal thought,
Himself with no other case.

Again without a second glance,
He turned to leave her be,
A torn up piece or beaten mess,
Of late-night best debauchery.
