A parasite within curdles my stomach, gagging sounds escape my mouth and vision fades in and out as the rhythm becomes more of a sloshing shake within me, less organs to feed on I suppose. My knees hit the ground as my hands clutch my stomach, acceptance creeping in. The sloshing stops for a moment, the parasite likely pondering the sudden absence of screaming just before. It continues to be at still, a fearful scream of fuel no longer giving it the energy to continue. I put my index finger on the stomach and push in, waiting for something, anything. I smile and stand then crumple as it resumes consuming me.
